Training sessionFundamentals of energy management and energy audit at the industrial facilitiesis a set of theoretical and practical sessions for energy managers and power engineers at the enterprises, chief engineers and their services, heads of workshops and manufacturing areas interested in improvement of energy efficiency of their facilities, cost saving in payment for the energy resources, modernization of enterprise as a whole and certain types of equipment, improvement of convenience and industrial safety on the working places.

Program targets:

1. To study main provisions of energy efficiency, energy management and energy audit according to ISO 50001:2011.

2. To form skills of studying the industrial facilities used for different purposes.

3. To form skills of preparing/systemization of energy saving and energy efficient measures, plans and programs for implementing thereof.

Tasks::

  • Energy audit of the enterprise and assessment of the energy saving potential.
  • Choose/calculate efficiency indicators for energy saving measures.
  • Develop projects and plans for energy management, measures amd programs for energy saving.
  • Development of energy efficiency improvement program.
  • Technical expertise of the energy efficiency measures and programs.

Training session may be conducted at DTEK Academy or at the customer's enterprise.

Training session will be conducted by the project managers of DTEK ESKO, certified energy auditors.

Unit 2. Energy audit. Place of energy audit in EMS

Main concepts of the energy audit. Types of energy audit. Objects and tasks of the energy audit at the industrial enterprises. Structures and stages of the energy audit.
Energy efficiency indicators, energy balances and energy maps for the enterprises.
Preparation of energy saving measures based on the results of the audit.

 

Unit 3. Energy efficiency measures

15:25 – 16:15

Systems for automated accounting and control of energy resources. Energy saving measures to regulate electric drives. Illumination systems and ways of saving electrical energy. Heat supply and heat consumption. Innovative approaches in manufacture/use of thermal energy

16:15 – 17:30

Classification and ranking of measures based on the sources of saving of electrical and thermal energy (including fuel). Analysis of indicators of energy efficiency of power units and systems. Analysis of standard energy saving measures, solutions and projects.

17:30 – 18:00

Project task, control points and format of implementation.

  • every training session participant makes their own presentation for their objects (energy saving program);
  • discussing, exchange of views, questions;
  • issue of certificates confirming participation in the training session;
  • taking pictures of the group, exchange of contact details.
